Jann was born and raised in Lumsden Saskatchewan. Shortly after moving to the Okanagan Valley he pursued a career in roofing and after only a few years into his roofing career, in 1988, he became one of the top requested tradesman in the field. Jann was acquired by Don Madge in the 1990s when Don was starting his business, quickly becoming one of Don's top crews specializing in cedar shakes and shingles. Jann had been a professional roofer for over 16 years with our company, and in 2005 he took the opportunity to become a roofing inspector with a credible roofing inspection and consulting firm. In that time, Jann became a roofing inspector achieving full RCABC credentials and after 3 years of roofing inspection experience he has chosen to return to his roots bringing with him a professional roofing company to form a Saskatchewan division of Madge Contracting Ltd where he is a 50% owner
